Relay Control Methods for the Behamad Smart 16-Channel Module
- Managing Relay Status via the App: By adding the Behamad Smart 16-Channel Module to the Behamad App, users can easily view and control the status of the relays. The module supports conditional scenarios and independent scheduling for each relay, providing users with a high degree of flexibility in system management.
- Managing Relay Status via Remote Control: The Behamad Smart 16-Channel Module supports the simultaneous addition of various 315 MHz and 433 MHz remote controls. To use a remote control, simply pair it with the module once. After that, you can manage the relay status and easily turn them on or off from anywhere in your home.
These management methods make the Behamad Smart 16-Channel Module an ideal solution for intelligent relay control.
SIM Card Support for the Smart 16-Channel Module
The module must be connected to the internet in order to be controlled. Depending on the installation location and the user’s requirements, the internet connection method can be selected accordingly.
In homes and small spaces, Wi-Fi is generally a simpler and more cost-effective option. Wi-Fi can also be a more practical choice in homes that do not have network cabling infrastructure for various reasons. However, in office, commercial, and industrial environments, using an Ethernet cable is a more suitable option, as it provides a stable and secure connection.
In areas where an internet connection via Wi-Fi or Ethernet is not available, a SIM card can be used to provide internet access. As long as the installation area is covered by a mobile network, the module can be operated using a SIM card.
If the user wants the module to support all three connection methods—Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and SIM card—the connection priority will be as follows:
- As long as an internet connection is available through Ethernet, the module will connect to it.
- If the Ethernet internet connection is interrupted, the module will automatically switch to Wi-Fi.
- If neither of these methods can provide an internet connection, the module will connect via the SIM card.
This process is fully automatic and requires no user intervention.
Features
In locations with a large number of lighting circuits, installing the relay module inside the electrical panel can reduce wiring costs while providing a more organized and professional setup. This configuration allows simultaneous control of 16 different outputs through the app or remote control. Simply put, the 16-channel relay module can be a suitable replacement for four conventional four-gang switches.
When the power consumption exceeds the normal range, the relay module can be used to control the device. On average, each channel can handle approximately 1,500 watts of power, with a range of 1,000 to 2,500 watts, depending on the connected load. In industrial and commercial applications, the channel outputs can be connected to contactors to increase the available output power. The output channels are designed to support various types of loads, including resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads.
In industrial and commercial applications, the module’s channel outputs can also be connected to contactors to increase the available output power. The output channels are designed to support various resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads. This makes the relay module a versatile and efficient solution for a wide range of projects.
